Youth Market, Creekside Park    5:00pm - 8:00pm

PURPOSE OF THE YOUTH MARKET:

The Youth Market is designed to give kids the opportunity to experience what it’s like to create, run, and sell their own business. The focus is on learning, creativity, responsibility, and confidence—not on maximizing sales or promoting established businesses.

This market is intentionally kid-centered. Youth vendors are expected to:

  • Create or prepare the products themselves
  • Make decisions about pricing, display, and sales
  • Interact with customers and manage their booth independently

While parents are welcome to support and encourage their child, the Youth Market is not intended for children to sell products on behalf of a parent, family member, or existing business, even if the child keeps the money earned. Booths should clearly reflect a kid-run business, both in scale and operation.  For more info, visit https://alpinedays.com/booths-in-the-park
