Lantern By Sea Is an indie rock band based out of Cedar Hills, UT. Founded by brothers Porter & Tate Smith and Josh Alvey. Influenced by the great cinematic stories, their music aims to take you on a journey. Mixing together a blend of heartening and melancholy riffs with a concoction of orchestral-inspired percussion and anthemic vocals and melodies, Lantern By Sea aims to bring grand odysseys to the rock stage.

Twenty-three-year-old country music singer/songwriter Cole Hartley grew up in the foothills of Alpine, Utah. There he learned how to hunt, fish, and play guitar.
He got his first guitar when he was six years old and has been playing ever since.
Cole fell in love with songwriting during his junior year of high school. He started recording music in 2019 and has since recorded all over Utah and in Nashville.

Some of his biggest music inspirations include bands ranging from local Utah country band “Due West”, to mainstream artists like George Strait, Cody Johnson, Luke Combs, and Eric Church.
Cole served a two-year-long mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dallas, Texas, where he gained a deeper appreciation for Christ, brisket, Blue Bell ice cream, and country music.

In addition to writing songs and recording, Cole performs both in a solo acoustic capacity, and with several bands. He has been fortunate enough to open for legends like Lonestar, Dean Dillon, Brice Long, and more. One of the bands Cole occasionally performs with is called “The Bryce Canyon Wranglers”. They put on a country music dinner show for tourists visiting beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park from April-October.

The event is finished.
